Somerset is home to Somernites Cruise, a car show that is held on the 4th Saturday each month, April-October, rain or shine. The cruise is a free event open to participants and spectators in a family-friendly atmosphere. The show is host to 1000+ show cars and trucks each month and concludes with the Parade of Classics when participants begin 'cruisin the strip'.
Somerset's waterpark is an attraction for all ages. The waterslides, wading pool, lazy river, and wave pool, all spell FUN for every member of the family.
Mill Springs Battlefield Visitor's Center & Museum
Mill Springs Battlefield Visitor Center and Museum in Nancy, KY hosts authentic Mill Springs Battlefield artifacts, authentic Civil War artifacts, replicas of Civil War weapons and clothing and artifacts on loan from private collections. The Museum also occasionally hosts traveling exhibits and educational programs that related to Civil War or Local history. The Visitor Center includes a Civil War Reference Library, a Gift Shop, and a Community Room. The Visitor Center shows visitors a free 20-minute video on the History of the Battle of Mill Springs. The Visitor Center is the beginning point for a comprehensive journey through Kentucky Civil War history. The Battlefield Preservation Association is also a host for reenactments of the Battle of Mill Springs.
Bear Wallow Farm
Take a hayride to visit the pumpkin patch and pick your own pumpkin, feed farm animals, explore the four-acre corn maze and watch the unique pumpkin chunker cast pumpkins as far as the eye can see!
Cedar Creek Vineyards
Located in eastern Pulaski County, Cedar Creek is situated on a mountain with beautiful views. The winery offers a variety of wines available for tasting.
Haney's Appledale Farm
Passed down through five generations, Haney's is a local favorite for pick-your-own apples, fried apple pies and peaches. Or take home an apple pie or a local craft from their store.
Sinking Valley Winery
Located in the beautiful Cumberland Plateau, Sinking Valley offers wine crafted utilizing oak barrels made at East Bernstadt Cooperage to enhance the flavor.
Lake Cumberland Performing Arts
The Center for Rural Development hosts the Children's Prime Time Theater, offering shows for children and their families on a budget. The Center for Rural Development has hosted numerous plays, concerts and events sparking a variety of interests.
Carnegie Community Arts Center
Once the Post office, then Pulaski Public Library has now been renovated to house the Carnegie Community Arts Center. The historic, beautiful three-story building built in 1913 is home to many arts organizations and operates solely on donations, events and rental fees.
