Somerset is home to Somernites Cruise, a car show that is held on the 4th Saturday each month, April-October, rain or shine. The cruise is a free event open to participants and spectators in a family-friendly atmosphere. The show is host to 1000+ show cars and trucks each month and concludes with the Parade of Classics when participants begin 'cruisin the strip'.

Mill Springs Battlefield Visitor's Center & Museum
Mill Springs Battlefield Visitor Center and Museum in Nancy, KY hosts authentic Mill Springs Battlefield artifacts, authentic Civil War artifacts, replicas of Civil War weapons and clothing and artifacts on loan from private collections. The Museum also occasionally hosts traveling exhibits and educational programs that related to Civil War or Local history. The Visitor Center includes a Civil War Reference Library, a Gift Shop, and a Community Room. The Visitor Center shows visitors a free 20-minute video on the History of the Battle of Mill Springs. The Visitor Center is the beginning point for a comprehensive journey through Kentucky Civil War history. The Battlefield Preservation Association is also a host for reenactments of the Battle of Mill Springs.

Carnegie Community Arts Center
Once the Post office, then Pulaski Public Library has now been renovated to house the Carnegie Community Arts Center. The historic, beautiful three-story building built in 1913 is home to many arts organizations and operates solely on donations, events and rental fees.
