Working at Eagle Realty and Development, LLC has allowed her to learn all aspects of the real estate business. She manages the office which currently handles residential sales and leasing; commercial sales and leasing, commercial development, warehouse services, and property management for people all over the world! Linda says “Eagle Realty really is your one-stop-shopping real estate agency, we handle it all!”
Linda has been a resident of Pulaski County for over 35 years. She was born in Marysville, OH and moved to Kentucky in her early teens. She first attended Eubank High School; graduated from Pulaski County High School, then attended Somerset Community College. She is married to William "Nico" Skaarup. Her son Ethan, recently graduated from Western Kentucky University and her daughter Taylor is currently attending WKU.
She is a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Kentucky Association of Realtors. Linda currently serves as President-elect for the Somerset Lake Cumberland Board of Realtors; is on several committees and formerly served on the Professional Standards Committee for the Kentucky Association of Realtors. She also was on the Citizens National Bank Economic Advisory Board in 2010 and currently is on the Advisory Board for Cumberland Valley National Bank.
Currently Linda serves on the Board of Realtors and the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She is the Past President of the Somerset-Pulaski County Rotary Club, of which she was a member for over 10 years. She served on the Rotary Board of Directors every year and is a Paul Harris Fellow. Linda received the Presidential Citation for her club's many achievements during her presidency. She has received the Distinguished Service Award for her many accomplishments and hard work as a Rotarian.
She attends Eagle Heights Church and volunteers in the Children’s ministry. Linda enjoys giving back to a community that has been good to her. She has been active in her community helping with organizations such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association, March of Dimes, American Cancer Society, Boy Scouts of America and American Red Cross.
Linda says she has always enjoyed working with people and loves seeing their faces light up when they find the perfect home. Linda went on to say “I have been blessed to work with so many wonderful people and would love to add more to that list if someone is looking to buy or sell a home!”
